Hey! Mike here, this is totally off topic…
I’m sure Tim would love me to talk about his new book, but I’m not going to…
Instead, I’m going to give you this amazing video, with some ‘fun’ facts and a spotter’s guide to thought bubbles… Oh, and because it’s a Eurovision song, it’s only going to take 3 minutes of your time!

This was the Eurovision Song Contest entry for San Marino in 2012. One of the comments on the YouTube video says “…still better than Jedwood.”
The population of San Marino in 2016 was 33,203 but that hasn’t stopped Valentina Monetta (singer in this video) representing them 4 times (qualifying for the final once)!
You can’t advertise a company in a Eurovision song (Eurovision Rule 1.2.2.g apparently), so they had to change the lyrics to “The Social Network Song”…
This is the 5th most played track of hers on Spotify.
In the video, watch out for the thought bubbles (mostly bad stock photos), see if you can spot them all:

  1. Mark Zuckerberg (founder of Facebook)
  2. Baby in a cooking pot
  3. Random nightclub montage
  4. Man asleep on laptop
  5. Cup of fancy tea
  6. The Whitehouse
  7. and many more…

What any of these has to do with Facebook is anyone’s guess…
Mi Piace
Mike
